Boomerang Bag Workshop
Join CCA's Boomerang Bag hub at West Ryde and learn how to make your own reusable shopping bag....and help us make some extras for the community at the Granny Smith Festival!
The Granny Smith Festival is celebrating 150 years of the iconic green apple. And it's going to be the "greenest" Festival to date with a focus on sustainability and reducing our community's environmental impact.
What better way to celebrate than with upcycled LIMITED EDITION Granny Smith Festival Boomerang Bags!
Available at the Festival from the CCA (Christian Community Aid) stall.
We're turning donated, upcycled sheets, curtains and tablecloths into enviro-friendly bags.
Come along to the workshop and learn how to make them. No sewing skills necessary.
If you have your own machine, please bring it along.
"Sew at Home" kits complete with pre-cut fabric, pockets and instructions also available for those who'd like to sew at home, or organise their own mini-bee before the Granny Smith Festival.
