The Problem

COVID-19 has impacted all of our lives. It has changed the way we think, the way we act and how we interact with each other. All sorts of problems have emerged such as:

  • People are isolated from their usual social circles
  • People are more anxious and stressed
  • Families are spending more time together indoors
  • Lockdowns and cancellations are reducing people’s work hours or in some cases causing unemployment, especially in industries like hospitality ad well as creative industries like music/theatre and sport
  • People can’t access the things they want as easily.

The Challenge

Designed and delivered by Young Change Agents this free online challenge will give you a chance to learn and practice your entrepreneurial and design thinking skills to create your very own COVID-19 solution.

The 1-day intensive event will empower you to identify problems in your community caused by COVID-19, and identify who these problems are impacting, develop a solution, and create a prototype.

The program will be delivered with a blended model of online videos and live virtual facilitation across Slack, YouTube and Google Hangouts.

Join as an individual or part of a team (max. 6 people per team).

Each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
