Christmas at St Phil's Anglican Church

Twilight Carols 

Sunday 11th December | 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Twilight Carols is our annual outdoor Christmas celebration with free sausage sizzle dinner from 5:30pm, followed by our lessons and carols services at 6:30pm. Together, we will sing carols and hear the Christmas story told, including a kids item and special musical items in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Indonesian.

BYO picnic blankets but chairs will be available. After the service, stick around for a light supper including Christmas desserts!

Hope Beyond a Blue Christmas Service

Wednesday 14th December | 7:30pm - 9:00pm

A contemplative service of hope for those feeling "blue," and carrying pain, loss and hurt into the Christmas season. Guest speaker, Christian Psychologist, Dr Amy Talbot. Supper to follow the service.

Christmas Eve

Saturday 24th December | 4:30pm - 6:30pm

An outdoor family Christmas show followed by free dinner and carnival games! 

4:30pm: We'd love families to join us for our outdoor Christmas family show! We'll be joined by our puppet friend Cumquat, as we get ready to celebrate Christmas together. There will be lots of singing, activities and fun!

5:15pm: Stick around after the show for a free dinner and lots of fun free carnival games!

Contemporary Midnight Service

Saturday 24th December | 11:00pm - 12:00am

Too excited to sleep? As we all eagerly await Christmas day, come along to our Christmas Eve Midnight Contemporary Service where we will sing Christmas carols, hear from the bible and a message from one of our student ministers, Josh Hoole. Celebrate with us!

Christmas Day Services

Sunday 25th December

8:00am - 9:00am

Join us on Christmas morning for a modern prayer book service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus! Traditional carols sung at this service, with bible readings and a Christmas message. The service will be held in the main church.

9:30am - 10:30am

A contemporary family friendly Christmas service with carols, a kids item, prayers, bible readings and a Christmas message. This service will be held in the main church. Join us for morning tea after the service in the courtyard.
