English and Mandarin Waste Workshop
Learn how to reduce your waste and help preserve and protect our natural environment.
In this workshop, you will learn about the different services offered by the City of Ryde Waste Department, as well as practical advice on how you can lead a more sustainable lifestyle. A Mandarin translator will run a presentation in Mandarin and this will be followed by a Q&A session with a waste educator.
This workshop will help you to:
- Understand current issues in waste
- Learn about the impacts of littering
- Learn recycling tips and tricks
- Familiarise yourself with the different services offered by the City of Ryde
- Lead a more Sustainable lifestyle
The workshop will include up to date resources relevant to the Ryde local government area. All participants will receive a free handout. Light supper/tea and coffee will be provided.
Complimentary tea and coffee provided.
Languages: English and Mandarin translator available
Bring: Pen and notepad to take notes.
