Guided Walk: Brush Farm Park & House (FULLY BOOKED)

This event is fully booked.

Come along as we take a walk through Brush Farm Park for our first guided walk for 2018!

The walk will be conducted through the remnant rainforest featuring many ferns and cabbage tree palms which provide plenty of shade for walkers, ensuring comfortable conditions even on a hot day.

Brush Farm Park is all that remains of Gregory Blaxland’s farm and his house can be seen across the road. Because of the rich history associated with the site, our guide will provide further insights about Gregory Blaxland and his farm throughout the duration of the walk.

We will also see a turpentine tree on the walk which is over 500 years old.

We are excited to begin this year’s Guided Walk program and look forward to seeing you there for what is sure to be both a peaceful and educational walk.

Easy grade walk suitable for adults and families with primary school or high school aged children who are competent walkers.
