Guided Walk: NAIDOC Week - Field of Mars Reserve

Join us on our Guided Walk through Field of Mars Reserve as we celebrate NAIDOC Week - a celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The walk through the reserves features and array of gum trees, wildlife, birds and urban creeks. Whilst taking in the diverse natural surroundings and visiting sites of Aboriginal significance, we will be on the lookout for bush food/supplies which the local tribes relied upon. Many of these plants are still found in the Field of Mars today. We will also be treated to bush tucker snacks at 12 noon for all to enjoy!
