Guided Walk: ELS Hall Park – Kids Mini Beast Safari

More real than Pokémon GO! On this adventure, children will learn the tricks of a professional Mini Beast Hunter. Set amongst towering gum trees and a babbling creek, ELS Hall Park is a special place where children will have the opportunity to make their own nature discoveries and lose themselves to the fascinating world of the tiny.

Two sessions are available:

Parking: 3P parking available onsite (entry off Kent Rd). Limited parking available in local surrounding streets.

Meeting Point: At the Community Sports Centre near the amenities building. The walk will commence and conclude at the same location.

Suitability: Easy to medium grade walk suitable for families with pre-school and primary school aged children. Walk distance is approximately 1.5km in duration so a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required. This walk is predominantly conducted on bush tracks and will include some uneven ground, steep slopes, steps and a road crossing.

Notes:

  • This walk is not suitable for stroller, prams or mobility devices
  • All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/carer
  • No dogs or pets
  • No smoking.

Equipment: Please bring your own water, water bottle, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Clothing: Must be suitable for physical activity. Hats must be worn. Bring a jacket in the event of inclement weather.

Footwear: Shoes must be sturdy, enclosed, have a non-slip sole and suitable for physical activity. Thongs, sandals and open-toed shoes are not permitted.
