Introduction to Bushcare

A free, one day workshop to introduce you to the world of Bushcare. Bushcare Volunteers contribute enormously to the regeneration of bushland areas.

Find out what it is all about and meet like-minded people. Topics covered include:

  • bush regeneration methods
  • techniques and tools
  • weed identification
  • site safety
  • habitat for wildlife
  • native plant communities
  • resilience and site strategies.

Bushcare trainer Geoff Bakewell will run through everything you need to know to get the most out of your Bushcare experience.

This free workshop is a must for all Bushcare Volunteers and people interested in volunteering. Build on the training you have received onsite and meet volunteers from other Bushcare groups.
