Learn Jujitsu: Free School Holiday Activity

Come along to the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre for a free Jujitsu, self defence class for school age boys and girls.

Sensei Rose Smith has been teaching martial arts for over 20 years and in 2016 was nominated for Australian of the year, for her work with young people and bullying.

Her safety programs have been taught to 1000’s of children across Sydney, helping create polite, helpful and confident kids. Vital child protective behaviours are taught in a fun and engaging way that kids love.

Rose also runs the highly successful “High School Jujitsu” program for teenage girls, boasting the current 15 year old world and Australian champions in kata and sparring. This all-girls program gives young women the space to develop confidence and resilience in a supportive environment.

Bookings essential as limited spaces available. 

Wear comfortable loose clothing.

Bring a bottle of water and two healthy snacks.
