Seymour Krelbourn is stuck.

He has a dead-end job in the most hopeless florist shop in New York and a hopeless crush on his co-worker.

He also has a peculiar hobby - cultivating rare plants.

When he finds a small, unclassified flytrap, his discovery may be the key that will get him out of Skid Row - if only he can keep it alive.

He stumbles on a solution that won’t cost much - only his soul.

A timely reminder to be cautious about big promises and small compromises, this sweet and satirical retelling of the Faust story combines a tribute to the B-Grade monster movies of the 1960s with an infectious Motown inspired score from the song-writing team that brought us The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast and Aladdin.
