Meal Planning & Avoiding Food Waste Workshop

Australians throw out an estimated $8 billion worth of edible food every year but most of this can be avoided. Meal planning is a great way to reduce food waste by only buying what you need. This is especially important in the lead up to Christmas which is traditionally one of the most wasteful times of the year.

Participants will learn how to plan their meals by using available, sustainable, seasonal and local produce during our round table workshop facilitated by an expert professional organiser.

Each person will go home with their own individually tailored meal plan for the next two weeks and have strategies in place to avoid overbuying and waste.

What to bring:

  • Pen and notepad to take notes
  • Water bottle
  • Reusable coffee cup to enjoy morning tea
