DIGITAL | Mental Health Month: Yoga (12-16yrs)
A fun and challenging yoga and wellness workshop for young people. The effects of extended lockdown, schooling at home and missing friends have an impact on all of us. This session will include an invigorating yoga practice that will help young people feel amazing through movement and awareness of their bodies from the inside out.
About the facilitator
Sandra (Art of Flow) is a Ryde local and a mum to three children from primary school aged to teenagers. She has been studying and practicing yoga for over 20 years and has been sharing yoga with Ryde residents for the last 10 years. Her background in psychology and interest in the Eastern philosophy of mind informs her teaching. Sandra’s intention is to help people feel more peace and presence in their everyday lives beyond the yoga mat.
