Neighbour Day

Come and get to know your neighbours at Lachlan’s Line Park and meet your local emergency services, enjoy a free cup of coffee, a sausage sizzle, live music and face painting for kids. This is sure to be a fun day out to celebrate Neighbourhood Day within the City of Ryde. Bookings are required for the Family Skate Clinic part of the day only.

Taronga Zoo Mobile 

At 10.30am, children will also have a chance to meet fascinating native Australian animals with a session from the Taronga Zoo Mobile. Kids will learn about roles of wildlife in the environment and their unique features that help them survive.

Please note that no domestic pets will be allowed in the area during the Taronga Zoo session.

Family Skate Clinic

From 10 am - 12 pm, for the bigger kids, Skate Now will be running a skate clinic at our Lachlan’s Line Skate Park with awesome activities and drills for all to enjoy. 

This is a family event encouraging both parents/carers and children to participate.

Please bring your own water, reusable water bottle and sunscreen.

Wear clothing that is suitable for physical activity. Hats must be worn. Bring a jacket in the event of inclement weather.

Parking available in surrounding local streets.
