DIGITAL | On Target - Goals & Timelines for Musicians
Learn how to successfully promote your music online with Vic from Astral People. Astral People is an artist management and local and international touring company with a publishing and recording label arm based out of Sydney.
This workshop will cover:
- setting and tailoring goals that suit you as an artist and align with your idea of success
- creating timelines to you keep yourself accountable and on track
- thinking about goals over short, mid and longer term timeframes.
In this workshop, Vic will share templates that Astral People have developed to help their artists grow. He’ll also talk through real life examples of how they achieved ambitious targets with creatives that they work with.
This workshop will be held on Zoom and you will be able to interact with the workshop facilitator and other participants.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop will suit musicians of all disciplines. It will particularly benefit emerging and early career artists who would like to develop their professional skills and understand how the music industry works.
This workshop is open to anyone who lives, works, studies or plays in the City of Ryde or Lane Cove Council.

Vichara Edirisinghe is the Co-Director of Astral People, a multi-facet music company based in Sydney specialising in Artist Management, International Touring, Events/Festivals, Recordings and Publishing. About Get Gig Ready
Get Gig Ready is a professional development program helping local musicians amp up their skills and shining a spotlight on creative talent in the Ryde and Lane Cove area.
In 2021, Get Gig Ready will feature digital workshops, in-person networking, curated playlists and a regular radio series profiling local acts.
This program is presented by City of Ryde, Lane Cove Council, the Live Music Office, MusicNSW, 2SER and Macquarie University.
