Preserving Workshop (FULLY BOOKED)

Prevent food waste and save money by learning how to preserve your excess fruit and vegetables.

In the workshop you will hear about various preserving techniques and make a jar of preserves using common kitchen equipment and utensils.

What you will take home:

  • a jar of preserved seasonal produce
  • information about preserving techniques (emailed to you after the workshop)
  • preserving recipes (emailed to you after the workshop)
  • real life skills

This workshop is suitable for adults who live in the City of Ryde local government area

Equipment:

Please bring your own

  • notepad and pen

  • water bottle

  • reusable cup to enjoy morning tea

This workshop is provided free of charge to residents of City of Ryde
