Seniors Festival: Walking Netball

There are so many great reasons to play Walking Netball!

Walking Netball is a fun and social event that gradually introduces adult players to physical activity by helping them regain necessary motor skills, balance, coordination and better footwork. Aside from these great benefits, this active exercise results in improved strength, flexibility and circulation, along with long-term fitness and weight maintenance benefits.

In Walking Netball, players must never have two feet off the ground which means no running or jumping. This creates an inclusive and social activity that is suitable for all levels of ability.

You will find it fun and easy to play even if you've never played it before!

Please note:

  • Players must wear enclosed sand shoes/ joggers. Thongs and sandals are not permitted.
  • The event will be held at the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre's Indoor Stadium.

This event is held as part of the Seniors Festival Celebration which runs from 12 to 23 February 2020.
