DIGITAL | Social Media for Creatives
Social media is a complex and challenging marketing tool for a lot of creatives, who find it hard to strike a balance between constantly talking about themselves and ignoring the platforms entirely! It can also feel impossible to know all there is to know, and stay up to date when technology is moving so quickly. This practical and easy-to-follow workshop covers all the basics of how to use social media as part of a wider marketing strategy, using real-life examples for demonstration.
Key elements explored in this workshop include:
- understanding the power of social media;
- working out the basics of your online brand and marketing ‘personality’;
- understanding the concept of a social media ‘tribe’;
- choosing the right platform for your work, and your customers;
- how to avoid talking about yourself incessantly;
- tips and tricks on staying up to date, and much more.
