Thriving Communities Event

City of Ryde is a proud sponsor of the 'Thriving Communities Event'.

Following the success of previous years, Thriving Communities returns with another community-focused cross-sector networking event and expo. This event is made possible with the with the generous support of sponsors, including Epping Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank, Hunt & Hunt Lawyers, City of Ryde Council and Service NSW.

At this free event, you can connect with other members of the City of Ryde community, learn about the scope of their activities, and discover opportunities and resources available to you locally.

Running for the third year, this event will be even bigger and better than ever and showcase the amazing passion and enthusiasm you have to contribute to your community, and work to make it better. Over 300 attendees are expected to attend.

The program will include:

  • A pop-up expo where a diverse group of organisations will showcase their activities/businesses
  • A few short inspirational presentations, designed to get you thinking and connecting to thrive
  • Informative presentations on how to access resources, funds, tools and workshops
  • Numerous lucky door prizes free raffles
  • Announcements of some major donations and grants

The whole event encourages cross-sector collaboration and innovation, looking for synergies, shared values and objectives. Whatever you need from your community is bound to be available. And whatever you can give to your community is bound to be needed and appreciated.
