Youth Mental Health Forum

Be comfortable in your own skin, mental health is more than just the mind.

Running for an 8th year, the successful format and engaging facilitators has seen participation from local schools continues to grow. In 2018 17 schools attended including; Asquith Girls, Brigidine College, Cherrybrook Technology, Hornsby Girls, Killara High, Ku-ring-gai High, Loreto Normanhurst, Normanhurst Boys, Ryde Secondary College, St Leos Catholic College and Turramurra High. In 2019 we are hoping to see you and your students too!

Highlights of the day include:

  • 2 lived experience stories from local young people with a mental health issue
  • Q&A panel giving students an opportunity to ask questions related to mental health
  • Take It Back project for students and school staff to ensure the messages delivered throughout the day are actioned within the school community
  • Entertaining activities throughout the day
  • And especially for teachers, we will be running a pertinent professional development session.

The popularity of this event continues to grow. Due to capacity limitations at the venue we will close registrations once we reach the maximum number of registrations. To avoid disappointment please register early.  Booking closes on 30th March 2019 unless registration is full prior.
