FRIDAY 22 MAY – James and Bobo
James and Ryde local Bobo have been performing together for over six years now, each with their own unique style that complements the other wonderfully. James' guitar playing is full of colour and rhythmic drive, with his smooth tenor vocals and a musical style reminiscent of Sting, while Bobo's rich and thoughtful harmonies weave subtle depth into each song. Their extensive repertoire and musical artistry brings life to the party every time.
Friday 17 April – Really Nice
Really Nice is a band made up of Ryan and Chelsea, husband and wife singer-songwriters from Ryde. Producing their own music as well as other people’s, the pair have performed in over 25 countries, and also teach online lessons in performance, song-writing and production. Their current musical projects include Really Nice and music production company dhanks. Due to the current pandemic, Ryan and Chelsea have been tirelessly working towards finding the perfect ratio of hot apple pie, ice cream and Netflix.
Friday 24 April – Ange Rose
Ange Rose is an up and coming indie singer/songwriter living her whole life in the Ryde area. At 16 years old, Ange is pursuing her music full time by playing both covers and originals all over Sydney. Ange is a former student of West Ryde Public School and Riverside Girls High School and is now studying music at TAFE.
Friday 1 May – Jack Rodgers
Jack Rodgers is a singer/songwriter from Eastwood. Jack recently took out several categories at the Macarthur Country Music Talent Quest and performed at The Tamworth Country Music Festival earlier this year. Jack has also performed twice in the United States of America at Disneyland, Universal Studios as well as on a Carnival Cruise-ship in Mexico.
Friday 8 May – Glenn Bidmead
For this session we'll be joined by singer/songwriter Glenn Bidmead. Glenn has been writing and producing his own songs and has worked with many artists over the years, including three weeks song writing in New York with artists including Keith Urban, The Veronicas and The McClymonts. He has travelled and performed extensively throughout Australia, including 15 years running song writing workshops in outback communities and schools.
FRIDAY 15 MAY – LACHLAN KERLEY
Lachlan Kerley is a 16 year old guitarist from Eastwood. He's been playing guitar since the age of 10 and experiments using a loop station, along with many effect pedals to achieve his unique psychedelic / alternative sound. His favourite genres include indie, alternative, reggae, acoustic and RnB. Some of Lachlan's favourite artists include Sticky Fingers, Tash Sultana and Girl in Red. Until recently you would have often found Lachlan busking in Eastwood Plaza.
