Following a meeting of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) in Sydney on 13 March, and advice of Chief Medical Officer, Brendan Murphy, Prime Minister Scott Morrison advised against any non-essential organised gatherings of 500 or more people from Monday 16 March 2020. In light of this, City of Ryde has cancelled several upcoming major events including the West Ryde Easter Parade and Fair. This is a precautionary measure for community safety. Find out more.

The 2020 West Ryde Easter Parade and Fair will be held on Saturday 4 April 2020 from 9.00am to 3.30pm.
From entering the parade through to performing on stage, there are plenty of ways to be involved in what is now regarded as the largest Easter event. For more information on the event or how to participate, please see our information kit.
