Ryde Rockers Rhyme Time

For children aged 0 to 2 years. Introduce your baby to rhymes, songs, fingerplays and other bouncing babies. Lapsit introduces babies to basic books.

Held during school terms. 

  • Eastwood Library - Wednesday 2 pm, Friday 10.30 am 
  • Gladesville Library - Wednesday and Friday 10.30 am 
  • North Ryde Library - Monday 2 pm, Tuesday 10.30 am 
  • Ryde Library - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10.30 am 
  • West Ryde Library - Monday and Tuesday 2 pm, Friday 10.30 am

Preschool Storytime is for children aged 2 to 5 years. Introduce your child to the wonderful world of books.

Held during school terms.

  • Eastwood Library - Tuesday and Thursday 11 am (note: on the 1st Thursday of the month, 11 am, Bilingual Storytime will be held for all ages)
  • Gladesville Library - Friday 11 am 
  • North Ryde Library - Wednesday 11 am
  • Ryde Library - Tuesday 10 - 10.45 am and 11.15 am - 12 noon (note: on the 1st Tuesday of the month, Bilingual Storytime)
  • West Ryde Library - Wednesday 11am (note: on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, Bilingual Storytime will be held for all ages)

Kids Club

Kids Club is a program for primary aged children. Come and join us for fantastic afternoons of craft, games, Lego/ Duplo play and science workshops.

Ages: 5-12 years

  • West Ryde Library - Tuesdays 4 - 5 pm (during school terms).

Stories and Play

Come and join us for a morning of stories and fun play! All ages are welcome!

  • Ryde Library - Saturdays 11 am - 12 pm
  • North Ryde Library - Saturdays 10.45 am - 11.30 am

Summer Reading Club

Every 5 books your child reads they will receive a prize. Great prizes for anyone game enough to enter!

Children's Book Week

Activities are run each year in August to celebrate Children's Book Week. For details on Children's Book Week and the award winners go to The Children's Book Council of Australia website.
