Design a Library Bookmark Competition 2023

Create and design our City of Ryde Libraries bookmarks.

The theme is The Magic of Reading! 
Draw your favourite magical place to read. 
Draw how reading makes you feel and where it takes you.

Five winning designs will be printed into a library bookmark that will be available for FREE from your local City of Ryde Libraries.

Winners will receive a gift voucher worth $100.

The competition will run between 11 September to 21 October 2023.

Competition Terms and Conditions

City of Ryde “Design a Library Bookmark” Competition – Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply:

  1. The Promoter is the City of Ryde of 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde NSW 2113, ABN number 81 621 292 610.
  2. The City of Ryde “Design a Library Bookmark” Competition commences at 9:30am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 11 September 2023 and ends at 5:00pm AEST on Saturday 21 October 2023.
  3. Entry into the promotion is open to valid members of the City of Ryde Libraries.
  4. To enter the competition, participants design a library bookmark and submit their designs via the online form at: www.ryde.nsw.gov.au/bookmarkcomp or completing the entry form at one of the City of Ryde Library branches.
  5. Participation in the competition by completing the above step is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  6. Entries into the competition are not limited.
  7. City of Ryde staff members, Councillors and their families and any promotional partners are not able to enter the competition.
  8. Five winning designs will be judged and win a $100 gift card which can be collected at a City of Ryde Library branch.
  9. The Promoter will contact winners within two week of the closing date.
  10. The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The Prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  11. The Prize is subject to any conditions imposed by the Promoter.
  12. By entering the competition, the winners consent to their names being published as winners of the competition and to participate in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion in printed and/or online formats.
  13. City of Ryde will not be responsible for any entries that are not received for any reason, by the closing date and time, whether lost, delayed, corrupted or otherwise, and whether or not due to any technical difficulties or malfunctions. 
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any of the Prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Definitions
 “Participant” means any person who enters the “Design a Library Bookmark” Competition
“Promoter” means the City of Ryde of Level 1, Building 0, Riverview Business Park, 3 Richardson Place, North Ryde NSW 2113.
