This competition has now closed.

The City of Ryde is running the '#RydeVision2028' priorities competition as part of the community consultation for the Community Strategic Plan 'Ryde Vision 2028'.

Every Monday for seven weeks, we will feature a new Priority (total of seven) and its focus on our website. We’re asking you, the community, to come up with a name that you think best describes the Priority.

If you missed a previous week's Priority you can still enter a name for that Priority here. Just look at the previous weeks Priorities listed below and use the form to enter you Priority name.

The focus of Priority 1 is that our residents feel supported and cared for with the availability of services and facilities, are encouraged to live healthy and active lives, feel secure and included where they can connect socially and locally.
PRIORITY 2
Priority 2
The focus of Priority 2 is that our neighbourhoods thrive and grow through sustainable design, planning, development and regulation, have a strong sense of identity, are engaged, clean, safe, vibrant, friendly and support the community.

The focus of Priority 3 is that our city encourages local jobs and business opportunities, where businesses flourish and prosper through economic growth. Macquarie Park is recognised as an area of innovation, education and technology.

Priority 5

The focus of Priority 5 is that our residents, businesses and visitors collaborate in the protection and enhancement of our natural environment and live a more environmentally sensitive life to manage the impacts of climate change.

The focus of Priority 6 is that our community has the option to safely and conveniently drive, park, catch public transport, cycle or walk around the city. Our residents, workers and businesses are able to communicate locally and globally.
