City of Ryde is seeking feedback on a proposal to introduce ‘NO PARKING’ from 5:00am to 11:00am Monday in the cul-de-sac of Bayview Street, Tennyson Point, in order to improve access for waste collection trucks.
WHAT ARE THE PROPOSED CHANGES?
In order to improve access for waste collection trucks, Council proposes to introduce ‘NO PARKING 5AM-11AM MONDAY’ around the cul-de-sac in Bayview Street.
The ‘NO PARKING’ restrictions would be in effect from 5:00am to 11:00am on Monday mornings only.
WHY IS THE CHANGE BEING CONSIDERED?
Bayview Street has a steep slope and when cars are parked around the end of the cul-de-sac there is insufficient space for waste-collection vehicles to access the area. These parking controls are being considered on all roads in the City of Ryde where waste collection trucks have difficulty manoeuvring.
