City of Ryde is seeking feedback on a proposal to introduce ‘No Parking’ zones on the northern-side of Rothesay Avenue, west of Belmore Street, Meadowbank.

The proposal will ensure waste collection trucks can access the off-street waste collection area for 6 Nancarrow Avenue.

WHAT ARE THE PROPOSED CHANGES?

In order to improve access for waste collection trucks, Council is proposing to introduce a 2 metre ‘No Parking’ zone on either side of the driveway entrance to 6 Nancarrow Avenue, located on Rothesay Avenue.

WHY IS THE CHANGE BEING CONSIDERED?

Currently vehicles parking near the driveway in Rothesay Avenue are restricting access for trucks servicing the off-street waste collection area for 6 Nancarrow Avenue. The proposed ‘No Parking’ zones will ensure waste collection trucks can access the building.
