Join us at Gladesville Library to learn what to do when someone dies. In moments of loss, knowing the practical steps to take can bring clarity and comfort to families. Metropolitan Memorial Parks will present topics ranging from legal responsibilities to emotional support, providing an understanding of the process to help navigate grief with compassion and confidence. Gather insight into various sustainable options that honour both our loved ones and the planet.

The session will explore what to do when someone dies, and options for traditional and alternative burials and memorials.

Dying to Know Day has been a national day of action, originally on August 8 extending throughout the month of August with hundreds of hosts around Australia holding gatherings aimed to normalise conversations about death, dying and grief, encouraging individuals to learn about, discuss, and plan for their own end-of-life, and to support others in doing the same.
