City of Ryde libraries are community spaces where everyone can share the excitement of discovery! You can use our libraries to read for pleasure, study, meet new people, experience other cultures, look for jobs, learn a new skill or share your skills.
Membership is free and anyone who lives, works or plays in the City of Ryde is eligible to join.
We have implemented some changes to the our library opening hours and services to ensure the health and safety of our community and staff by fully complying with the NSW Health guidelines.

Free WiFi, Internet and Email through Library Computers, Meeting Rooms, Photocopying and Printing, Scanning, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The Home Library Service is a free delivery service provided to those who are unable to get to the library due to illness or disability.
If an item you need is not available at any of the Ryde libraries, you can request a copy through the Inter Library Loans service.
Residents can access a range of Council services and information previously only available from the Civic Centre.
