Terms and Conditions of Entry at the RALC

Entry

Centre Management reserves the right to refuse entry and / or remove customers at any time. Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry to the Centre. Upon entry users are to abide by pool rules, signage and direction from Centre staff. Abusive, disruptive or offensive behaviour and language is not permitted.

Risk

All patrons entering the facility do so at their own risk and the Centre takes no responsibility for personal safety, belongings and supervision of patrons. This includes all features, inflatables and attractions.

Lost / Stolen Property

No responsibility is accepted by the Centre for the loss of property, including personal property or property belonging to hire groups, contractors, schools or other individuals. Lockers are used entirely at the patron's own risk.

Age – General Admission

4 years and under  Free with full paying adult
 5-15 years Child
 16 years plus Adult
Child under 10 Must be with an adult at entry and for the duration of their visit.
Concession / Student Valid identification must be presented upon each entry.
Sauna / Spa / Steam Room Access restricted to eligible patrons 16 years and over.
Supervision

0-5 year olds and non-swimmers, a parent or guardian needs to be in the water and within arms reach of the child at all times.

Children 6-10 years of age, Parents and Guardians must be close by, maintain visual contact and be prepared to enter the water if required.

Children 11-14 years of age should be regularly checked upon if accompanied by a parent.

Stadium - Children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by and supervised by a parent or guardian.

Membership and Multi Visit Passes

All membership and MVP holders are required to scan their card upon entry. All membership and MVP cards remain the property of the RALC.

Spitting

Spitting anywhere within the Centre and pool areas is prohibited.

Bag Checks

The Centre reserves the right to conduct random checks on all bags and eskies.

Prohibited Items

Patrons must not bring glass and/or glass containers into the Centre. Alcohol, chewing gum, dangerous items and zinc cream are prohibited.

Spa, Sauna, Steam Room, Program Pool Area

Wrist bands purchased from Reception on that day must be worn at all times in the steam room, sauna and spa area. Swapping of bands between patrons is prohibited. The program pool is available to the public outside of Learn to Swim, Aqua Aerobic and rehabilitation programs. Please refer to lap lane availability for further details.

Smoking

The Centre is a smoke free environment. Patrons must not smoke within the Centre, including in its building and its surrounds, entrance forecourt and all external areas.

Lap Swimming and Diving

Lap swimmers are required to swim and remain on the left at all times. Diving from blocks is prohibited unless under direct guidance of a qualified instructor.

Swimming Coaching and Teaching

Only Centre staff and approved contractors / user groups are permitted to conduct coaching or Learn to Swim sessions. You are not permitted to teach friends or extended family members outside of your own children whilst in the Centre.

Photography

The use of cameras (phone cameras, video, DSLR) is strictly prohibited within change rooms.

Photography of immediate family members only is permitted. You may be asked to show RALC staff images you have taken.

Family and Disability Change rooms

Patrons are requested to limit their time in these change rooms to a maximum of 15 minutes. Family / disability change rooms are not for use by general public.

Stadium

Casual and group booking users of the stadium are not entitled to use of pools / sauna / spa or steam room areas.

The stadium is a dry area. No wet swimwear permitted.

Toilet Training

Parents are requested to ensure all children use the toilet before entering the water.

Aqua nappies are required for babies and non-toilet trained toddlers including those participating in swimming lessons. Aqua nappies are available from Reception.

Lap Lane Availability

Centre Management reserves the right to change lap lane availability and pool configuration without notice to meet operational requirements.
