Tree Applications and Fees

Council has been advised that due to a serious incident involving an Ausgrid employee working close to live power lines, all work involving live power lines, including street lighting, tree trimming and removal, has been suspended. Council is currently unable to progress such requests until the relevant authorities advise that work can resume. At this stage there is no indicative timeline for when this will occur. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Tree Applications

If you are seeking permission to remove or prune a tree on your property fill out a Tree Management Application(PDF, 88KB) and submit the form to Council with the applicable fee.

You can review a Tree Permit within three months of receiving your determination. Complete a Review Tree Management Application(PDF, 78KB) and then submit the form to Council with the applicable fee.

For properties within or part of a Heritage Conservation Area or Heritage Item and you wish to apply for tree removal, you must complete a Development Application Form for tree removal on heritage properties(PDF, 79KB).
