Council recommends that customers report any issue directly via telephone, mail, in person or online via our Report an Issue form.

Please note: Reports received via commercial applications such as Snap, Send, Solve do not collect sufficient information for Council to complete the request effectively, which can result in delays in processing. For this reason, City of Ryde does not recommend using Snap, Send, Solve.

Language Assistance 

Please call the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450. We also have some staff trained as Language Aides to assist you in languages other than English. Please ask when you call.

Report an issue

Tell us about any issues or problems that may require Council's attention around your area - abandoned vehicles, dogs, graffiti removal, missed or damaged bins, footpaths and roads.

About Customer Service

Our friendly Customer Service Officers are extensively trained and multi-skilled to assist you in a wide range of services including:

  • Provision of detailed information about Council products, services, and activities
  • Requests for service or complaints regarding Council’s infrastructure
  • Licence and permit applications
  • Payments and bookings

All payments can be made at the Customer Service Centre using cash, cheque, EFTPOS, and credit card. Please note that payments by credit card attract a merchant service fee.
