The Top Ryde City Shopping Centre is a vibrant, new precinct that commands a striking presence in the town centre. Located on the corner of Devlin Street and Blaxland Road, the centre offers major department stores, variety stores, supermarkets and specialty stores as well as a fashion promenade, outdoor dining and entertainment precinct, cinemas and bowling. Macquarie Park is home to the Macquarie Centre, which has been a major shopping and entertainment destination for north-siders for some time. The centre includes major department and variety stores, various supermarkets and food suppliers, cinemas and fashion shops as well as an ice rink.

West Ryde is a smaller town centre that offers a range of specialty shops and restaurants, particularly along Victoria Road. The town centre is currently undergoing a redevelopment which will see the construction of a new retail centre with residential units above as well as a Community Centre. Eastwood is famous for its wide selection of Asian food restaurants and specialty shops. Eastwood runs across both sides of the railway and offers a unique shopping and dining experience.
Gladesville is a smaller shopping precinct with many shops along Victoria road and within the Shopping Village. Gladesville also hosts many restaurants with diverse cuisines on offer.
There are smaller shopping villages dotted around the area offering individual and local flavour to our City. Services include banking, newsagents, cafes, butchers and other smaller retail outlets.
