Our creeks and waterways are a precious resource supplying recreation opportunities, habitat for wildlife and vegetation corridors. They also feed into our major waterways like the Parramatta River and Lane Cove River.

Unfortunately, some companies and individuals have used our natural areas as a dumping ground for toxic substances and waste.

That’s why we are asking the community to work with Council to put an end to this.

If you see someone polluting our natural areas you can assist in the following ways:

1. Take a photo of the incident if it is safe for you to do so.
2. Take note of the licence plate number and/or company name on the vehicle.
3. Report the incident to Council by calling 9952 8222 or report online.

Together we can stop the destruction and pollution of our community assets.
