16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence
To help end domestic violence and abuse, City of Ryde runs a campaign each year centred around the United Nations’ 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. An annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on 10 December, Human Rights Day.
Order your Bin Sticker
Show your support by ordering a "Let’s come together to end domestic violence and abuse" sticker for your Bin. By working together, the local community, support services and Council can deliver a strong message to put an end to domestic violence and abuse.
You can order a bin sticker online or collect a bin sticker from Council's Customer Service Centre during opening hours.
Please note: Stickers must not cover the City of Ryde logo or the serial number on the bins.

What is Domestic Violence?
We teamed up with City of Ryde’s Community Migrant Resource Centre's Multicultural Ambassadors to help our diverse community recognise what domestic violence is and where to seek help. The videos are available in English, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Armenian and Hindi.
