Payments

Direct Debit payments are fortnightly, and 4 weeks' notice of cancellation is required in writing to swimschool@ryde.nsw.gov.au.

Upfront payments are School Term based and positions are not guaranteed if re-enrolment is not completed in Week 6 of each Term.

2026 Term dates

Term 1 – Tuesday 27 January – Thursday 2 April
Term 2 – Monday 20 April – Sunday 5 July
Term 3 – Monday 20 July – Sunday 27 September
Term 4 – Monday 12 October – Sunday 20 December

Please Note: There are no weekly lessons during School Holidays or on Public Holidays. A Holiday Intensive Program is offered during School Holidays. Lessons that would normally fall on a public holiday are not charged.

New Members

Bookings for new members can be done over the phone on 8878 5111 or in person with upfront payments or fortnightly Direct Debit.

Please Note:

• Any child that can already swim MUST have an assessment to determine the correct level to enrol in to – this is especially important if changing swim schools as lesson structure varies.
• Assessments are free and run during the following times:
  • Monday to Friday 4 pm - 7 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 8 am - 2.30 pm
• You can join at any time of the session and payment is required only for the number of lessons remaining.
