Drop in to Ryde Library as a Council Home Sustainability Advisor will be available providing home efficiency and energy saving tips that will improve the comfort of your home and reduce the cost of your utility bills.
Bring a copy of a recent energy and water bill and fill in a home survey on the day for a 20-minute face-to-face discussion about your home and the best ways to save. You can meet with the advisor at any time during the session, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The City of Ryde is helping its residents to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of their homes by offering free tailored home assessments through the Home Waste & Sustainability Advisory Service. This service is open to all residents, tenants or owners, of houses or units, and offers advice and solutions that will increase home comfort whilst saving you money on your bills.
We are currently offering this service in a range of formats to suit you – online, in-home or by phone.
Residents who complete an online home survey (or paper copy on request) are eligible for a home assessment conducted by a Council officer. Assessments are 100% free as part of Council’s service to help you identify ways you can save money on your water and energy bills. Assessments do not include the sale of any products or services.
