The Heritage Working Group is to advise and assist Council to promote, conserve and celebrate places that are of natural, indigenous, cultural, social, aesthetic and/or historic significance within the City of Ryde.
The Inclusion and Access Working Group is to provide advice to Council to enhance the City of Ryde, as an inclusive community that is accessible for all residents and visitors so they can actively participate in all aspects of community and civic life.
The Multicultural Working Group is to provide advice to Council to ensure that Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) residents in the City of Ryde are welcomed and able to participate actively and inclusively in all aspects of community and civic life.
Provides advice and assists with the implementation of Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
The Ryde Youth Council is to provide advice to Council on matters relating to the needs and concerns of young people in the City of Ryde to ensure they are able to participate and engage actively in all aspects of community and civic life.
The Small and Family Business Working Group is to provide support and advice regarding the implementation of the Economic Development Strategy.
The Sport, Recreation and Bicycle Working Group is to advise Council on all matters relating to cycling, sport, and recreation in the City of Ryde.
The Status of Women Working Group is to provide advice to Council on gender equality and the empowerment of women to improve the ways in which women in the City of Ryde are able to participate and engage actively in all aspects of community and civic life.
The Sustainability Working Group is to consider matters and inform Council of community views, priorities and topics regarding the natural environment and sustainability topics within the Ryde LGA and regional initiatives.
