Are you under 25, live or study in the City of Ryde and consider yourself a bit of a star behind the camera?

We want to see what your vision is for our City!

The My #RydeVision2028 Youth Video Competition is being run as part of the community consultation for the Community Strategic Plan 'Ryde Vision 2028'.

Great prizes to be won!

The winner of the 'My #RydeVision2028' video competition will win:

  • A GoPro Hero4 Session valued at $200.

Three runners up (1 x Year 7-9 age group, 1 x Year 10-12 age group and 1 x Tertiary student runner up) will each win:

  • A choice of either a $50 iTunes Gift Card or a $50 Google Play Gift Card.

How to enter

Create a 3 to 60 second video which reflects the theme 'Ryde Vision 2028' and showcases the City of Ryde. Entries can be submitted in one of two ways during the competition period:

  • By uploading an original video and completing the entry form at www.ryde.nsw.gov.au/rydevision2028; OR
  • By posting an original video on Instagram featuring the hashtag #RydeVision2028 and completing the steps outlined by City of Ryde via Instagram.

Please note: For Instagram entries, please note that entry to the competition via Instagram is subject to a two-step entry process. Entrants must:

  • Post their original video to Instagram using the #RydeVision2028 hashtag. Videos with this hashtag will be reviewed by City of Ryde for shortlisting. City of Ryde will contact shortlisted entrants via Instagram using the comment feature with a link to the competition entry form. Not all entries will be shortlisted and those that are not shortlisted will not be entered into the competition.
  • If shortlisted, entrants must complete and submit their personal details via the competition entry form at www.ryde.nsw.gov.au/rydevision2028 to complete their entry.
