The City of Ryde is seeking community feedback on proposed upgrades in Kissing  Point Park including a Boat Ramp Upgrade and a new Bike and Kayak Hire Kiosk.

Kissing Point Park Boat Ramp Upgrade

The City of Ryde is upgrading the Boat Ramp in Kissing Point Park and have engaged Advisian consultant to design the new ramp facility. We would like to hear your thoughts on issues you face with the existing ramp, what additional facilities you would like to see provided for the boat ramp and any suggestions for improvement that would assist with launching and retrieving your vessel.

Your feedback will be used to help integrate the new facilities with the park.

Proposed Bike and Kayak Hire Kiosk

The City of Ryde has been examining ways to further activate the use of the parks along  Parramatta River including the provision of a bike and kayak hire kiosk. It is proposed that  the bike and kayak hire kiosk also include a small scale café with food and beverage  offerings.

Kissing Point Park, east of the ferry wharf has been identified as a preferred site for the  kiosk due to its accessibility, interface with the river and supporting infrastructure.

Council would like to hear your thoughts on the proposed new bike and kayak hire kiosk at  Kissing Point Park.
