Road Safety Calendar

2022 Road Safety Calendar

The 2022 Road Safety Calendar developed by northern Sydney councils is now available!

This year’s calendar has a unique look and includes some important road safety messages for all road users.

Use these messages as a conversation starter for you and your family, friends and colleagues. Road safety is more than just fatalities and serious injuries. It is a part of our daily experience as a pedestrian, rider, motorist or user of public transport.

The 2022 calendar provides tips on visibility for vulnerable road users, getting to school using active travel, safe parking tips, avoiding distraction as a pedestrian and more.

There is also information on safety around buses and the correct use of car headrests.

The 2022 Road Safety Calendar is a collaboration of Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Lane Cove, Northern Beaches, North Sydney, and City of Ryde Councils. The annual calendar has been delivered to Northern Sydney residents since 2001 with the aim of educating and encouraging positive behaviour in all road users, across all ages.

It is available FREE for road users of all ages from Council Libraries, Customer Service, Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre and various community locations. You may also request a calendar to be posted to you by contacting Customer Service on 9952 8222 or cityofryde@ryde.nsw.gov.au.
