Addressing the Planning Panel

When an application is to be determined by the LPP, if the matter will be determined via a public meeting, applicants and those who made a submission will be advised of the date of the meeting. .

The Council officer’s report will be available on Council’s website seven (7) days prior to the meeting.

Members of the public including applicants, objectors, supporters or residents wishing to address the Panel regarding an agenda item must first register by 12 noon the day before the meeting.

Registered speakers must have already lodged a written submission on the development application or planning proposal. Alternatively, if you do not wish to verbally address the panel, a brief written submission (no longer than an A4 page) can be submitted outlining the issues you wish to address the Panel about, along with the Application to Address the Local Planning Panel Form by 12 noon on the day prior to the meeting for consideration by the panel.

You may elect to have someone represent them at the meeting if you do not wish to represent yourself, and you will be given a maximum of five minutes. Please be mindful that the Panel has been provided with the Assessment Report, all submissions and all other relevant information in advance. All meetings are recorded and published on Council's website. The final report of the Meeting, including the Panel's determinations, will be published on Council’s website within 7 days following the meeting.

Additional plans or consultant reports will not be considered by the panel at the meeting.
