Glen Street Carpark Access

The City of Ryde is committed to the delivery and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure including safe and sustainable carparks for the community.

As part of this commitment, council will be undertaking routine maintenance works at Glen Street Carpark to ensure safety of the public.

What will the works include?

Works will involve the repair of concrete in the undercover lower level of the Glen Street Carpark. A location plan has been included below.

When will the works take place?

The night works will occur on Thursday 31 August 2023, between 10.00pm to 5.00am the following morning. Small handheld tools will be required to operate; however, the work will be managed to minimise disturbance to nearby residents and businesses as much as practically possible.

What are the changed traffic conditions during construction?

Lakeside Road and Glen Street will remain open to vehicular traffic during the works. However, parking on the lower level of Glen Street Carpark via the Lakeside Road entry will be unavailable during this time. Access to the upper level of parking via the Glen Street entry will remain open and unaffected by the works. Access to the shops and businesses will be maintained.
