Cork & Fork July 2023

Get ready to sip, sample and soak up the atmosphere as Cork & Fork by the Riverside returns to the City of Ryde, bringing together an irresistible combination of food, wine, and live entertainment.

High winds forecast for Sunday 18 May 2025 have led to a late change of venue, with the event being moved from Kissing Point Park, Putney, to nearby Cleves Park between 10am and 4pm, but the fun remains the same.

This much-loved annual event is a celebration of regional winemakers, plus local distillers, brewers, and gourmet food producers. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing day out with friends and family, sampling boutique wines and craft beverages, indulging in delicious eats, and browsing artisan stalls – all while enjoying free live music.

City of Ryde Mayor Trenton Brown encourages everyone to come along and enjoy this standout event in the City’s events calendar.

“Cork & Fork by the Riverside is dedicated to showcasing boutique wine from the Orange and Hunter Valley regions, great food, and entertainment in a fun and festive setting. Whether you're a foodie, wine lover or just looking for a great day out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy,” said Mayor Brown.

The event also features free kids’ activities, workshops, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with something to please every palate and age group. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the best that City of Ryde has to offer.

Entry is free. If you wish to purchase alcohol from one of our stallholders, you must purchase a festival glass for $10 from the Festival Information Stall.
