As part of City of Ryde’s Artist-in-Residence program, we are delighted to offer another creative class facilitated by Louisa Chan.

Step into the artist’s studio and get an exclusive look at the creative process. Join us for an interactive open studio session where you can observe, engage, and even create alongside artists. This event is an invitation to explore your own creative potential in a relaxed, inspiring environment.

Class overview

An open studio session where the community is invited to observe and participate in the creative process. This is an opportunity to demystify art-making, allowing participants to engage with ongoing projects or start their own under guidance.

Anticipated outcomes

• Demystifying the Creative Process: Participants will witness how art is created, breaking down barriers and fostering a deeper appreciation for the artistic journey.
• Inspiration and Engagement: By interacting with artists and contributing to projects, participants will gain inspiration for their own creative endeavours, encouraging ongoing artistic exploration.
• Building Community through Art: The open studio will create a space for dialogue, sharing, and collaboration, helping to strengthen bonds among community members.

Limited parking available onsite. Timed parking in local surrounding streets. Two-hour car park on Church St.

Cost

This workshop is free but registration is essential and places are strictly limited.
