Artist-in-Residence (AiR) Program

Treksketcher

The  Artist-in-Residence (AiR) Program focuses on the development of artists by providing recipients with a spacious studio environment in which to pursue and further extend their art practice.

The studio space is at Westward Cottage in the heart of Ryde and next to Top Ryde City, at 8 Turner Street, Ryde.
The studio will be open on
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.30am – 12.30pm, so pop in for a visit to see Rooi at work.

If for any reason her commitments change on those days, she will leave a sign on the door with her contact information.

City of Ryde sought out expressions of interest from artists for this program to support professional development, showcase creativity in Ryde, create conversation through expression and build community connection.

After receiving expressions of interest, the first successful artist to join the program is local sketcher Rooi Ping Lim, whose work can be view on the Treksketcher website
