Learn, create and grow your upcycling skills in this workshop for people aged 16+ by painting paperbags, beginners welcome.

Katy Kapadia (Katy K) brings a bagful of artistic creative ideas to recycling by painting pre-loved bags. Come, have fun and upcycle re-cycled bags - in celebration of World Environment Day!

Katy K is a local Artist that teaches Art with a twist. She understands the importance of art as therapy and modifies it to suit our busy hectic lifestyle. She has been painting and teaching for over 2 decades; has won numerous awards and sold her artworks both within Australia and internationally.

While she favours watercolours and florals, she also works in acrylics and paints a variety of subjects from daily objects, pets and interiors. She enjoys painting for the sake of painting — sometimes letting rules fall by the wayside and letting creatively have full sway.

Katy K’s new venture is resurrecting old paper bags. A creative way to re-recyle. Love the pre-loved. Because often times there is still so much life in things we throw out which is such a pity and a waste.

She blends her artistic skill with her creative writing abilities and creates one-of-a-kind paper bags you can proudly re-use. Often times she converts the logos/ tag lines on the bags into funny sayings and quirky messages. It’s re-recylcing at its best!

Come, create and learn bagful of ideas with Katy K! Enjoyment Guaranteed!
