Dog Recreation Strategy 2019

Submissions closed on 01 December 2019, 11:59 PM

Council is currently reviewing the Dog Recreation Strategy, including the provision of dog-off leash areas within the City of Ryde.

The purpose of the Dog Recreation Strategy is to guide our planning of both existing and potential future dog off-leash facilities to meet the changing needs of our growing community.

We would like to hear your views on whether new and/or expanded dog parks are required and if so, where they are best located.  We would also like to hear about what you like or dislike about off-leash areas, your thoughts on their size and location, and any suggestions for improvement.

It is important that we hear from everyone in the community with an interest in the use of the City’s parks. This will help to ensure that we fully understand and respond equitably to the needs of all park users and visitors.
