The City of Ryde’s Draft Conflicts of Interest Policy - Council Related DAs (Development Applications) is on public exhibition for community comment.

This policy aims to address potential conflicts of interest in council related development applications. These conflicts can potentially arise where council has a dual role, being the development regulator but also the developer, landowner, or holds a commercial interest in the land. The draft policy intends to provide a framework for dealing with these applications to ensure good governance and providing transparency in the development application process.

Council now invites you to consider the draft policy and make any submissions.
