Council Meeting | Proposed Trial of Dog Off-Leash Areas

Council invited our community to share their feedback on the Proposed Trial of Dog Off-Leash Areas from 3 October 2023 - Sunday 7 January 2024.

The six proposed sites included:

  • Eastwood Park, Eastwood (lower field) (when not used for organised sporting activities booked by Council)
  • Granny Smith Memorial Park, Eastwood
  • Pioneer Park, Marsfield (when not used for organised sporting activities booked by Council)
  • Waterloo Park North, Marsfield (northern area on Vimiera Rd)
  • Banjo Paterson Park, Gladesville (excluding weekends and public holidays)
  • Lardelli Park, Ryde

The community engagement outcomes, along with the sites recommended for a 12-month dog off-leash trial, will be reported to Council’s meeting on Tuesday 22 July 2025.
