City of Ryde is seeking feedback on a proposal to extend the existing hours of operation of the pick-up and drop-off zone in Thistle Street, Ryde to improve accessibility and ease congestion at the frontage of Meadowbank Public School.
What are the proposed changes?
In order to improve pick-up and drop-off operations in Thistle Street, Council is proposing to extend the afternoon 1/4P restrictions on the southern side of Thistle Street, west of Belmore Street, from '2.30pm to 4.30pm' to '2.30pm to 6.00pm' on school days.
Why is the change being considered?
These changes will improve pick-up and drop-off operations at the frontage of Meadowbank Public School in Thistle Street, and ease evening peak-time congestion.
